The Flying Bull is a friendly pub and restaurant, conveniently located in the delightful village of Rake and close to all the local amenities and attractions that this delightful part of Hampshire has to offer. Whether you are here on business or pleasure, the owners assure you of a very warm welcome and the highest standards of service.
The bar offers a great selection of Cask Marque Ales, lagers, spirits and extensive wine menu, in a friendly atmosphere where you are made to feel welcome by staff and locals. There is an attractive and comfortable restaurant offering an extensive menu of freshly prepared homemade food at lunchtimes and evenings, made with the best local ingredients at competitive prices.
The seven bedrooms are located in a purpose built extension with private entrance. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with a flat-screen TV, work desk and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are en-suite with stylish modern bathrooms, which feature either a walk in shower, bath with shower or wet room. Each room has a luxurious comfortable bed with Double, Twin and Family rooms available. A ‘Bull English’ breakfast is included in the room rate, made fresh to order with the finest local ingredients, along with continental options which include croissants, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and tea & coffee.
Free Wi-Fi is offered in the bar and restaurant. We also have a large range of events to keep you entertained including curry nights, live music and quiz nights. Dogs are more than welcome in the bar at the Flying Bull, we also allow dogs in our accommodation via prior arrangement – for which we make a small nightly charge.
